The passage in English AI
In the name of God, the All-Merciful, the Compassionate. Praise belongs to God, who created the human being upon His form, singled him out with His inmost secret, and made correspondence (muḍāhāt) and vaunting (mubāhāt) two premises for securing the conclusion, which is knowledge of Him. At one time He makes him correspond to the Presence of His Essence and Attributes; at another He makes him correspond to the Presence of His creatures. And blessing be upon the Prophet, who gathers together the first principles and stands facing the Presence of pre-eternity: the radiant light that casts no shadow, concealed behind the veil of 'Nothing is like His likeness' (Q 42:11). That is the Reality of realities and the first configuration, brought forth upon the form of the creatures, and upon that of the Creator as well, the latter by way of likeness (shakl).
