العز الذى لا يفنى هو الغنى عن الاسباب كلها بوجود مسببها لانه باق لا يفنى فالتعلق به عز لا يفنى والعز الذى يفنى هو الغنى بالاسباب مع الغيبة عن مسببها لانها فانية فالتعلق بها عز فان لا يبقى

The glory that does not perish is independence (*ghinā*) from all secondary causes (*asbāb*) through finding (*wujūd*) their Causer (*musabbib*); for He is enduring and does not perish, so attachment (*taʿalluq*) to Him is a glory that does not perish. And the glory that perishes is being made independent by the secondary causes while absent (*ghayba*) from their Causer; for they are perishing, so attachment to them is a perishing glory that does not endure
