   [Bless him who is] the jewel-substance of the possible originated things, which are never devoid of motion and rest; the matter of the word of direct (divine) address that rises from the concealment of 'Be!' (kun) into the witnessed manifestation of 'and it is' (fa-yakūn); the prime matter (hayūlā) of the forms, which never disclose themselves in any one of them twice to two, nor in any form of them to one person twice; the Qurʾān (gathering) of the all-comprehending gathering that encompasses the impossible and the non-existent, and the Furqān (discrimination) of the separation that divides the originated from the eternal.

    وَاَفِضْ عَلَيَّ مِنْ سَمَاءِ تَوْحِيدِكَ اِيَّاكَ مَا تُطَهِّرُنِي بِهِ مِنْ رِجْسِ الشِّرْكِ وَالْاِشْرَاكِ وَاَنْعِشْنِي بِالْمَوْتَةِ الْاُولَى وَالْوِلَادَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ وَاَحْيِنِي بِالْحَيَاةِ الْبَاقِيَةِ فِي هٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا الْفَانِيَةِ وَاجْعَلْ لِي نُورًا اَمْشِي بِهِ فِي النَّاسِ وَاَرَى بِهِ وَجْهَكَ اَيْنَمَا تَوَلَّيْتُ بِدُونِ اشْتِبَاهٍ وَلَا الْتِبَاسٍ نَاظِرًا بِعَيْنَيِ الْجَمْعِ وَالْفَرْقِ فَاصِلًا بِحُكْمِ الْقَطْعِ بَيْنَ الْبَاطِلِ وَالْحَقِّ
