خَفْ مِنْ وُجُودِ اِحْسَانِهِ اِلَيْكَ وَدَوَامِ اِسَاءَتِكَ مَعَهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ ذَلِكَ اسْتِدْرَاجًا لَكَ سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُمْ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Fear that His beneficence toward you, while you persist in ill-doing toward Him, may be a gradual luring of you to ruin: “We shall lead them on step by step from where they do not know” [Q 7:182; 68:44].

الخوف من الاستدراج بالنعم من صفات المؤمنين وعدم الخوف منه مع الدوام على الاساءة من صفات الكافرين

Fear (*khawf*) of being lured on by degrees through blessings (*niʿam*) is among the qualities of the believers, and the absence of such fear, together with persistence in misconduct, is among the qualities of the unbelievers.
