مَنْ وَجَدَ ثَمَرَةَ عَمَلِهِ عَاجِلًا فَهُوَ دَلِيلٌ عَلَى وُجُودِ الْقَبُولِ آجِلًا

Whoever finds the fruit of his work here and now, that is a sign that acceptance awaits it in the hereafter.

ثمرة العمل وجدان الحلاوة فيه والنعيم به ويتصور ذلك فى أكثر الأعمال بالمواظبة عليه على حال تكره واستثقال له هذا هو غالب الأمر

The commentary: The fruit of the deed is finding sweetness (*ḥalāwa*) in it and delight (*naʿīm*) through it. In most deeds, this comes about through persevering (*muwāẓaba*) in the deed while one still feels aversion to it and finds it burdensome. This is how the matter usually goes
