Ibn ʿAbbād

هذا ميزان صحيح وقد روى عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال من أراد أن يعلم منزلته عند الله فلينظر كيف منزلة الله تعالى من قلبه

This is a true balance (*mīzān*). It has been related from the Messenger of God (God bless him and grant him peace) that he said: "Whoever wishes to know his standing (*manzila*) with God, let him look at how God's standing is in his heart."
