The chapter titles of the Fuṣūṣ are built on nisbas: ḥikma ilāhiyya fī kalima ādamiyya, 'a divine wisdom in an Adamic word'. The -iyya abstract, rare in early Arabic, grew in the philosophical and Sufi vocabulary.
